Hey guys! I hope you’re all having a great week! Today I’m showing you some rental friendly hacks you can use in your rental bathroom. I have tested out so many renter-friendly products so I feel confident in telling you these products work. And they make a huge difference in your space.
Here is what the bathroom looks like. It’s very standard and nothing special. I recommend changing out the lights. Save the original and store them somewhere safe to replace the old when you move out. This will make a big difference! Trim out the mirror. Mirrors look more high-end and custom when they have a frame around them. Just go to Lowe’s/Menards/Home Depot and get some wood to frame the mirror. You can remove this easily prior to moving out. These countertops are pretty stained up and generic. I have tested out peel and stick countertops and they are awesome!!! They make such a big difference on a little budget. You can also apply faux wood adhesive on top of your existing cabinets. It’s easy to apply, easy to remove, and makes a big difference on a small budget. If you have a wall behind your sink you can add a temporary renter-friendly backsplash
I created this eDesign look to show you what it could look like if you give it a little love. You don’t have to hate your rental. Just tweak it, customize it how you like it, and you will love it so much you won’t want to leave it!

Some other things you can do in your rental bathroom is change out your existing shower head. Store the generic shower head away and replace it prior to moving out. You can also line your cabinets with some pretty adhesive drawer liners. Remember, it’s not what it looks like-but what it could look like! You don’t need a lot of money to create your dream space, you just need to get creative!
